I wasn't sold on Reylo until after seeing TLJ, but I've been enjoying diving into meta from fans of the ship and how their relationship in canon is constructed. The Scavenger's Hoard podcast did an analysis through the lens of classic literature like Wuthering Heights and Jane Eyre a few weeks ago that was really interesting (x).
I'm a big multi-shipper so I really like examining characters through different kids of pairings and dynamics. Kylo is a little harder to do this with as out of all the characters in the Sequel Trilogy he's the one whose been expanded upon the least in companion works like books and comics because his arc is so tied to the main storyline of the movies (Rey and Finn also have this problem but to a lesser degree.)
